Super Bowl Halftime Show 2018: Start time, performers

Super Bowl

Super Bowl LII is going to be great for more reasons than just the play on the field. Here’s a look at the start time and performers of the very anticipated halftime show.

Whether you’re a die-hard football fan or just in it for the commercials, the Super Bowl is a must watch every and this year will be no different. It’s one of the most entertaining spectacles on television for more reasons than just the play on the field. When the Patriots and Eagles take to the locker rooms at halftime, the entertainment will just be getting started.

The Super Bowl halftime show is known as one of the most anticipated entertainment events of the year. We’ve seen incredible performances and everything on the spectrum throughout the years. Whether it was U2 performing a 9/11 tribute or Prince singing “Purple Rain” in a downpour, the halftime show never seems to disappoint.

Who is performing at the Super Bowl 52 halftime show?

Performer: Justin Timberlake
Time: Approx. 7:15 p.m. ET

This year, Grammy Award winner and Multi-Platinum album seller Justin Timberlake will take the stage for the halftime show. It will be Timberlake’s third time performing in the Super Bowl and his most recent performance in 2004 didn’t come without controversy. Janet Jackson had her wardrobe malfunction and you know the rest. Timberlake will look for redemption as he’ll be a solo act this year, as far as we know. There always seems to be a surprise every year.

Maybe even Jackson will make her return to mend the broken bridges now 14 years later.

There is no official start time for the halftime show performance because it depends on the length of the first half but it’s expected to start around approximately 7:15 ET. Once the first half concludes, make sure to get back to your television as soon as possible so you don’t miss one of the best entertainments of the year.

Timberlake is as talented as they come and it’s set to be a fantastic show as long as everyone keeps their clothes, of course.
