Who are the top pickups off the waiver wire this week?
Another Sunday slate is in the books, and the fantasy football season is in full flow. It was another crazy weekend of football, and as expected, all of our predictions and anticipated happenings were thrown out of the window with ensuing madness. After all the twists, turns, and injuries, who should be be targeting on the waiver wire for week four?
Week 3 selections: Brandon Coleman, Kenny Stills, Trevor Siemian, Jalen Richard, David Njoku, D’Onta Foreman, J.J. Nelson, Darren Sproles, Rashard Higgins, Chris Thompson
Week 2 selections: Jesse James, Javorius Allen, Allen Hurns/Marqise Lee, Kerwynn Williams, Austin Hooper, Jared Goff, Nelson Agholor, Cooper Kupp, Kenny Golladay, Tarik Cohen
Preseason selections: Torrey Smith, Phillip Dorsett, Kendall Wright, Charcandrick West, Wendell Smallwood, Jay Cutler, Chris Carson, Cooper Kupp, Ted Ginn, Paul Richardson
10. Marqise Lee
Both Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns have appeared on this list before, after Allen Robinson went down for the year with an ACL injury in the Week 1 matchup against the Houston Texans. Now, with a sample size of data to work with, it looks like Lee is the preferred target of quarterback Blake Bortles and could be involved quite heavily moving forward.
When Jacksonville turned up in London and stomped on the Baltimore Ravens this weekend 44-7, it was a huge surprise. However, this team looked great and might not be the laughing stock that we thought they were after a monumental be down by the Tennessee Titans last week.
The defense looked outstanding, Bortles was efficient, and there is definitely room here for fantasy football assets. Since Robinson went down, Lee has had 11 catches on 19 for while Hurns has had nine for 102 on just 10 targets (but his two touchdowns have been the difference). Lee looks like the top target on this offense, and could well be worthy of a flex play or start as a third or fourth receiver.
