Packers QB leaves game after big hit

Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers is almost untouchable, but he was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

The last thing Green Bay Packers fans want to see is Aaron Rodgers go down with an injury. BUt that happened on Sunday against the Vikings and Packers fans everywhere are holding their breath.

Rodgers took a hit that looked like it maybe should have been flagged but wasn’t. That wasn’t the biggest takeaway from the hit — it was Rodgers being forced to leave the game after being driven into the turf.

To tie up one loose end, the hit that took Rodgers out of the game was indeed illegal.

That’s really not the issue here. Rodgers was taken first to the medical tent and then to the Packers locker room on a cart. From the moment he hit the turf to when he was carted away from the sideline, Rodgers wasn’t moving the arm he landed on, which looked at the time like it might be a shoulder injury.

If that’s the case, then the Packers will be without Rodgers for the forseeable future.
