NFL News

Looking for the best highlights of Week 8 of the NFL regular season? We’ve got you covered with the 10 best.

We are almost to the conclusion of the first half of the NFL regular season and what a ride it’s been. We’ve seen everything imaginable, on and off the field. Week 8 was a low scoring affair in the early games but picked up with some great matchups in the afternoon.

Of course, the highlights were in abundance again this week. If you missed any of today’s games, don’t worry. Here are the 10 best highlights of today’s action.

10. Football or Soccer?

It was all Minnesota Vikings today across the pond in a solid 33-16 win over the winless Cleveland Browns. Still no Sam Bradford, but Case Keenum has plenty of help from his wide receivers today. Adam Thielen was one of those receivers and he had a huge day, finishing with five catches for 98 yards and this touchdown in the second quarter.

But it isn’t the touchdown we’re focused on for this highlight, it’s the celebration. Very fittingly, Thielen did his best soccer slide in front of the London crowd. Not on the level as Cristiano Ronaldo, but pretty impressive nonetheless. The Vikings can head back to the states happy at 6-2.

9. Robbie Anderson doing it all

Have a day Robbie Anderson. The Jets might have lost to the Falcons in torrential downpour conditions, but Anderson did it all for the offense. He finished with a huge game, catching six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown. His best play came on this beautiful sideline grab late in the third quarter.

With a third and long situation, Josh McCown floated a perfect pass to Anderson down the left field sidelines. Anderson had just an inch on Falcons cornerback Robert Alford and made the incredible diving catch. Even as the safety came overtop, Anderson was able to hold on for one of the best catches of the day.
