You don’t love football if you miss these games

NFL News

It’s already Week 10 of the NFL regular season and time is flying by. Here are the five best football games you’ll tune into this week.

Seven more weeks in the NFL season, just seven. Week 10 doesn’t bring us a ton of exciting games on paper but plenty of important playoff implications. As we get down the stretch into the final weeks of the season, these kinds of games are going to be the one that matters. Don’t shy away from this week, there’s still plenty of great football to watch.

Here are the top five games of the week.

5. Los Angeles Chargers at Jacksonville Jaguars

There aren’t as many great matchups as we’ve seen in couple past weeks but this is still an interesting one to watch. After years of being one of the laughing stocks of the league, the Jacksonville Jaguars are for real this season. They’re 5-3 and an opponent not many opposing teams want to come up against. They play host to Phillip Rivers and the Chargers, who make the cross-country road trip to Jacksonville.

The Chargers sit at a disappointing 3-5 but they’re better than the record states. The offense has the potential to be potent. Phillip Rivers and Kennan Allen are dangerous through the air and Melvin Gordon is one of the best young running backs in the game. As good as the Jaguars have been against the pass this season, they’re one of the worst ranked defenses against the run. It’ll be interesting to see how that plays out, especially with the addition of defensive tackle Marcell Dareus.

I can’t wait to watch Jalen Ramsey come up against Allen and the Chargers’ wide receivers. Ramsey is just one game removed from getting ejection after a fight with A.J. Green. He’s one of the best cornerbacks in the game right now and has the right to do the smack talking. Let’s see if he can back it up again this week.

It’s a must-win for the Chargers if they want to stay in the playoff picture and the Jaguars can continue their dominance atop of the AFC South. I give the Jaguars the advantage at home but I could really see this game going either way.
