As we enter Week 13 of the 2017 NFL season, we take a look at what the first round might look like in the 2018 NFL Draft next April.
With 12 weeks of the NFL season in the books, the Cleveland Browns have yet to find the win column. Last weekend, they were beaten pretty soundly by a bad Cincinnati Bengals team, and it looks like a win will not be in the cards this season. They currently hold two of the first ten picks in the 2018 NFL Draft, so help is on the way, but it could be multiple years before this franchise is ever relevant.
Here is a look at our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.
The Cleveland Browns are clearly the worst team in football, and this unit may be the worst Browns team we have seen in recent years. This past Sunday, they were beaten by the Cincinnati Bengals, who have been a joke of a team this season as well. On Sunday, they will take on the red-hot Los Angeles Chargers, so you can expect them to stay in this position heading into Week 14 of the NFL season.
Last year, the Browns went out and spent a second round pick on DeShone Kizer, and they gave him the keys to the car heading into the season. However, he has not proven to be a real long-term answer, and the Browns will certainly pick a quarterback first overall in 2018. Right now, the best NFL prospect looks like Josh Rosen from UCLA, who has all the talent to be a special one at the NFL level.
Rosen has the arm to make all the throws, and while he can make some bad decisions, he has a solid football I.Q. The Browns need to draft a quarterback first overall in April, and with a bunch of solid quarterbacks declaring for the draft, they have to make sure they get this pick right. If Rosen turns out to be a bust, it will set this franchise back another ten years.
