Odell Beckham Jr. has a tattoo of Iverson’s step-over

NBA, NFL

Odell Beckham Jr.’s new tattoo’s are incredibly detailed and incredibly iconic, he’s even got The Answer on there.

It’s no secret star NFL receiver Odell Beckham Jr. likes to express himself through his tattoos. He’s never been one to shy away from expressing himself in general either — most recently discussing where he wants to go with his career and paying homage to the G.O.A.T quarterback, Tom Brady. However, his most recent leg tattoo pays tribute to some legends throughout different aspects of society.

Included on this wonderful, large tattoo; Allen Iverson. Even though it’s easy to get sidetracked and glaze at all of the other icons from politics to music; Iverson may be the best person included. Beckham’s tattoo features the iconic ‘step-over’ when Iverson made now-Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue look folish, breaking his ankles and draining a shot over him and then stepping over him in what’s widely regarded as one of the most disrespectful NBA plays of all-time. Beckham’s tattoo shows his appreciation for one of the NBA’s all-time greats. Further, the step-over fits Beckham’s cocky, in your face attitude to perfection. He’s great, like Iverson, and neither are afraid to show it both on and off the playing field.

All things considered, regardless of one’s views on tattoos, Beckham’s latest is a masterpiece. He recently had an incredibly extensive, detailed tattoo done on his right leg. Being out for season, Beckham has nothing but time on his hands. Therefore, he contacted the famous Spaniard Joaquin Ganga Lopez to work his magic on his right leg. And work the magic he did, Beckham’s tattoo is truly breathtaking and pays an extensive amount of time to detail.
