Patriots now with two first-round picks

NFL Mock Draft

With the New England Patriots acquiring the 23rd-overall pick from the Los Angeles Rams, all NFL mock drafts have to be adjusted accordingly.

The Rams now have Brandin Cooks, and the Patriots have a pair of first-round picks and a boatload of interesting options. What could transpire when we get to April 26 and the first round of the NFL Draft? Let’s look at what could happen with a fun, quick mock draft!

1. Cleveland Browns – Sam Darnold, QB, USC
2. New York Giants – Bradley Chubb, EDGE, N.C. State
3. New York Jets – Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming
4. Cleveland Browns – Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
5. Denver Broncos – Quenton Nelson, OG, Notre Dame
6. Indianapolis Colts – Denzel Ward, CB, Ohio State
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Derwin James, S, Florida State
8. Chicago Bears – Mincah Fitzpatrick, CB, Alabama
9. San Francisco 49ers – Marcus Davenport, DE, UTSA
10. Oakland Raiders – Roquan Smith, LB, Georgia
11. Miami Dolphins – Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma
12. Buffalo Bills – Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA
13. Washington Redskins – Harold Landry, EDGE, Boston College
14. Green Bay Packers – Mike Hughes, CB, Central Florida
15. Arizona Cardinals – Vita Vea, DT, Washington
16. Baltimore Ravens – Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame
17. Los Angeles Chargers – Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech
18. Seattle Seahawks – Will Hernandez, OG, UTEP
19. Dallas Cowboys – Taven Bryan, DT, Florida
20. Detroit Lions – Derrius Guice, RB, LSU
21. Cincinnati Bengals – Isaiah Wynn, OG, Georgia
22. Buffalo Bills – Christian Kirk, WR, Texas A&M
23. New England Patriots – Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville
24. Carolina Panthers – Josh Jackson, CB, Iowa
25. Tennessee Titans – Sam Hubbard, EDGE, Ohio State
26. Atlanta Falcons – Maurice Hurst, DT, Michigan
27. New Orleans Saints – Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota St.
28. Pittsburgh Steelers – Rashaan Evans, LB, Alabama
29. Jacksonville Jaguars – Mike Gesicki, TE, Penn State
30. Minnesota Vikings – Connor Williams, OG, Texas
31. New England Patriots – Kolton Miller, OT, UCLA
32. Philadelphia Eagles – Jaire Alexander, CB, Louisville

If this somehow plays out (spoiler: it won’t), the Bills and Dolphins would have to be thrilled. Of course, this doesn’t include trades, and with both Buffalo and New England having a pair of first-round choices, expect them to flex some muscle to move up and get their targets.
