The NFL broadcast map for Week 2 has been dropped on us, and much of the country is about to be introduced to Patrick Mahomes.
Want to know which games are coming to your area? We have you covered.
Here’s the broadcast map for the early CBS slate, which features five games. All of the maps can be found at the506.com.
Most of the country will see the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, getting a up-close-and-personal view of Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes was the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his four-touchdown performance against the Los Angeles Chargers in a 38-28 win.
Meanwhile, Atlanta and Green Bay get completely jobbed here, somehow being the only major areas of the nation that doesn’t get a national game from CBS in the early window.
In the late window, CBS lines up like this…
The CBS split is pretty obvious here, with the east coast getting to see the Jacksonville Jaguars playing host to the New England Patriots in an AFC Championship Game rematch. Out west, it’s the Oakland Raiders on the road to take on the Denver Broncos in a divisional showdown.
As for the FOX coverage…
Much of America will be getting arguably the best game of the week with the Green Bay Packers hosting the Minnesota Vikings. All the other games are locally be broadcasted, with the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons have a lion’s share of the southern market. The Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints are also being flexed to FOX, a game that would normally be CBS’ territory.
