NFL Week 4, 2018: Broadcast map

NFL

Here are the NFL games for this week that will be broadcast on TV in your area.

As the NFL action gets ready to roll into Week 4, it’s time for you to start preparing for the games you’ll be able to watch on TV in your area. The broadcast maps are out, so here’s what you can look forward to this week.

As always, there will be the three national TV games on Thursday night, Sunday night, and Monday night. For Thursday this week, it will be a clash of arguably the two best teams in the NFC, the Minnesota Vikings at the Los Angeles Rams. That game will be available on FOX and NFL Network.

On Sunday night, it’s a showdown between AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, at Heinz Field. That game will be coming your way on NBC.

Finally, Week 4 will wrap up with a Monday Night Football matchup between AFC West rivals Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos in the Mile High City. That game will be available on ESPN.

Meanwhile, here’s what your Sunday slate will look like…

CBS EARLY

For the early round of CBS games, the majority of the nation will be getting the Miami Dolphins visiting the New England Patriots in an AFC East showdown. In typical years, this might not always be considered a marquee matchup to watch, but this isn’t a typical year. The Dolphins are currently first in the division at 3-0, and Tom Brady and the 1-2 Patriots are desperately trying to avoid falling into a hole.

Another interesting divisional game will be between the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts, but it looks like, for the most part, only Texas and Indiana will get that game. Meanwhile, the cities of Dallas and Nashville are getting blocked from all early CBS games due to their local teams playing a home game on FOX.

CBS LATE

For the late round of CBS games, the country is split in half (except for Arizona, who will be blocked with the Cardinals playing a home game on FOX). Most of the Eastern half of the country will be getting the New Orleans Saints at the New York Giants, a nice little showdown between Alvin Kamara and Saquon Barkley.

The western half of the country, for the most part, will be getting the San Francisco 49ers at the Los Angeles Chargers, which will be San Fran’s first game without Jimmy Garoppolo, who suffered a torn ACL last week.

FOX SINGLE

On the FOX side of things, much of America will be getting the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys. This could be a good game; the Lions are fresh off a stunning win over New England on Sunday Night Football, while the 1-2 Cowboys are trying to get their season going on the right track.
