NFL Week 4 2018: Picks and predictions

The NFL is already nearing the quarter pole of the regular season, and it’s time to start rolling on the weekly picks. Does it happen?

All lines are provided by OddsShark.

Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Rams (-6.5)

The Vikings (1-1-1) couldn’t have been more disappointing on Sunday, getting blown out by Buffalo. Meanwhile, the Rams (3-0) are just rolling along with a +66 point differential. Los Angeles is cruising and while both Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters are out for this game, it’s tough to see Minnesota blocking Ndamukong Suh and Aaron Donald up the gut.

Pick: Los Angeles 27, Minnesota 23

Buffalo Bills at Green Bay Packers (-10)

The Bills (1-2) pulled off a stunning victory over Minnesota last weekend, but this is a very tough spot. Can Buffalo go on the road again, against a very good team, and win? It’s not likely, especially with the Packers (1-1-1) coming off a loss in Washington.

Pick: Green Bay 29, Buffalo 16

Cincinnati Bengals at Atlanta Falcons (-5.5)

The Falcons (1-2) are taking on all kinds of injury-related water. Atlanta is now without safeties Ricardo Allen and Keanu Neal, and linebacker Deion Jones. Now, the Falcons try to get off the proverbial mat against a Bengals (2-1) team that lost last week in Carolina. It won’t be easy, but the home-field edge matters here.

Pick: Atlanta 28, Cincinnati 23

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys (-3)

The Cowboys (1-2) should be able to run at will, but can they do anything else? The Lions (1-2) really showed something against the Patriots in their win on Sunday night, but are they any good? This is a tough game to predict, but give me the better (much better) quarterback.

Pick: Detroit 23, Dallas 20
