10 WR sleepers to watch in Fantasy Football Week 7

Fantasy Football

We’re talking sleepers, the wide receiver kind. Who exploits the matchup and who due to injuries gets the limelight? Let’s talk.

Wide receiver sleepers are the best sleepers, don’t at me. Quarterbacks are tough to come by and running backs are finicky. Wide receivers are so interesting because of the matchups especially but a quarterback can pick his favorite wideout at any time. So let’s look at 10 wide receivers who could have nice performances in Week 7.

10. Chris Hogan vs. Chicago

Lacrosse! Chris Hogan finds himself here early on the list as the Patriots head to Chicago after an emotional late win at home against the previously undefeated Chiefs. Hogan is an important piece and, in a wide receiver core with Julian Edelman and now Josh Gordon, he fits nicely for Tom Brady.

Hogan has two touchdowns but they both came in the Week 2 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. He did have his best receiving day last week, though, with four catches and 78 yards, his best yard effort on the season by a larger margin. Hogan hasn’t surpassed five catches yet this season but that could change against Chicago.

The Bears really struggled after the catch Sunday against the Dolphins and that isn’t overselling it. Albert Wilson destroyed the secondary after the catch to the tune of a pair of touchdowns that kept the Dolphins in the game late before sealing it in overtime. Look for Hogan to exploit a similar pattern Sunday in Chicago.
