NFL quarterback rankings, Week 8: Mitchell Trubisky must improve

NFL News

Mitchell Trubisky needs to be better, Patrick Mahomes is the NFL MVP thus far, and Philip Rivers is having one hell of an underrated season.

This week, and every Tuesday of the season, the rankings are based with a combination of current play and performance of an indicator of what is to come.

Blake Bortles Memorial Division

32. Derek Anderson (LW: NA)

Anderson, Josh Allen, Nathan Peterman, the ghost of Jack Kemp, it doesn’t matter. Buffalo has no ability to move the ball because the offensive personnel is horrific. This week? A date on Monday night with the Patriots. You almost have to feel bad for the Bills that this one is on national television.

31. Jaguars “QB” (LW: 30)

Blake Bortles was benched for Cody Kessler. However, head coach Doug Marrone hasn’t committed to which atrocity he is going with against the Eagles this weekend. Bortles is signed for two more seasons with a relatively cheap out prior to 2020. What a mess.

30. Brock Osweiler (LW: 31)

Osweiler isn’t getting out of this division yet, because he’s been horrific throughout his career. He played well against the Bears but was solid facing the Lions, but how long does this last? Tough to see Miami and Osweiler becoming a good match in the long term.
