Trust the Eagles to rebound

NFL Odds

The NFL gives us a pretty intriguing slate of games to bet on in Week 8. Backing the Eagles to rebound and Patrick Mahomes to keep rolling can get you rich.

Week 8 is here and we’re proud to tell you that we’re back over .500. Going 3-2 in Week 7 got us back on the right side of the ledger. We’ve continued to provide you more and more value as we get a better idea of what each NFL team has to offer.

This isn’t a marquee list of games from a competitive standpoint. The Monday Night Game is particularly putrid. The Patriots are favored by 14 on the road at Buffalo. Derek Anderson is a bad quarterback, but we’re not sure if he’s that bad or not. Stay away from that one.

Without further delay, let’s give you five games to sink your betting teeth into the week before Halloween arrives. As always, we’re going to provide you more treats than tricks. We start with a tasty bet in the Big Apple.

5. Bet on the Bears -7 vs. the Jets

Every week the Jets seem to lose one more key piece on offense. This week Sam Darnold is going to head to Chicago without running back Bilal Powell. He isn’t a great player, but his injury might represent the straw that breaks the camel’s back for the Jets offense.

On the other sideline, we know the Bears are going to score points at home. Mitchell Trubisky missed a ton of open throws last week against the Patriots. Look for Matt Nagy to spoon feed him the easiest offensive plan possible in this game. You should see a lot of Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard.

The Bears should sprint out to an early lead due to Nagy’s excellent ability to script plays early in the game. Once that happens, their defense is going to enjoy a lot of success attacking the Jets’ injured offense. This one could end up being a blowout, but we’d recommend sticking with -7.
