Las Vegas set the win total for the Bills at 6.5. Take the over and collect your money at the end of the season.

The Buffalo Bills win total for 2019 is set at 6.5 wins. This is my favorite bet to take the over on for the 2019 NFL season.

The Bills won six games in the 2018 season and all of their offseason moves should give you faith in the team moving forward. They also have a schedule that offers several games that should favor the Bills; they have the advantage of playing the Giants, Bengals, and Redskins outside of their division. And their division gives them the benefit of two matchups this season against the Dolphins and Jets. While the Jets have significantly improved since last season, they have still failed to eclipse five wins since 2015.

Josh Allen will be entering his second year and will now be playing behind an upgraded offensive line. He also has new targets including receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley. On the line, Buffalo signed several significant upgrades and followed the additions up by adding Cody Ford in the second round of the draft.

Protecting Allen will be key this season after he was sacked 29 times in only 12 games last season. Allen also took longer than any quarterback in 2018 to throw the ball. Giving him the time he needs should lead to significant strides forward in his passing game if his accuracy can improve next season.

Buffalo’s defense also saw key additions this offseason. The Bills selected Ed Oliver in the first round to replace Kyle Williams, the Bills starter at defensive tackle for the last 12 seasons. While Oliver was drafted as a replacement, he also has room in his game to improve substantially and become an upgrade at the position.

They also signed cornerback Kevin Johnson who has potential to be solid opposite Tre’Davious White. The Bills defense was already one of the better units last season, finishing second in defensive DVOA. With upgrades on the front seven and in the secondary, they should look to follow up this success.

With the added benefit of some easy games on the schedule, the Bills’ outlook for 2019 looks very bright. Taking the over on the Bills win total should be one of the easiest bets you make this offseason.
